wow!!! i live in the worlds largest democracy.. where your a free man , you get to choose what you wanna do , what you wanna watch, right to free speech, right to basic education.. and i think now we should also add "right to watch what's on tv"...

One man files a petition "against adult stuff being showed on movie channels" and the Supreme court makes the lives of millions of indians miserable by blocking the movie channels, what's worse... the cable operators in protest block the rest of the channels for two whole days..!!
so who lost?? obviously the consumers... and the viewers..
as the saying goes "one man's pain, is another man's pleasure".. and this was pretty evident in this case.
India was known for its adult theme paintings.. even in the olden days sex was not a taboo , infact there was freedom of expression to express sexuality in an artistic manner, which sadly is not allowed today(Case in point - the art exhibition, showing erotic art work, being banned ).
so basically everyone wants to ban adult themed exibitions and ban adult channels(so called), but yet everyone still wants to watch em again and again and again.
the point is, firstly are we little kids that we cant decide what we should/can watch or not...
are the parents too insecure of what comes on tv.(most of em are anwyays), that they silently support this move... and why not?
firstly you dont teach your child abt sex, then you shun him from talking abt it, and then you say that its bad, its only gonna have a negative impact on them..
and i feel that most of these people who want to ban adult shows come from that sort of mindset. why? its simple. peple say sex corrupts your mind?? so what do you watch? cartoons??
saas bahu drams? where all the women do is bitch abt each other... doesnt that have a negative influence on you , and makes you doubt your loved ones too.
sex is taboo.. but its ok to rape and murder.. are we as a society being to numb towards such incidents??
cause everyday i see there is some violence in some part of the nation, and many a times its politically motivated. so we are saying that its ok to kill, but not ok to talk/watch abt sex?
what kinda of tranny is this!
so many rape incidents happen everyday , and most of the victims never get justice. what abt that?? rape is shown in every serial on tv.. its like , its become a "majaak" of some sort.
same with violence.... mindless violence shown on tv in the name of religion or agaisnt a particular caste..
so are we saying that , we are ok with our children being influenced by mindless violence and cruelity and brutality but not sex? are we saying that we have become to numb to these things?? "chalta hai" ?? .. damn .. !
wasnt the ban against adult shows to shield the children?? but what abt rapes and violence?? does the SC do anythin to the politicans who talk openly abt killing others in the name of religion? or is the SC a puppet, a numb puppet at that.
i do not support ban, nor do i support the special timings for adult shows.. what are you gonna achieve in that??
if you wanna watch adult shows, you would watch it anyhow , anyways.
and if your telling me that i have to take permission from the gov to watch a bikini show , then F oFF!! ...
the more i listen to my grandpa talk abt the olden "golden" days.. the more saddened i am.
those were the days when your life had a value, you had morals, you could do what you wanted to and could proudly say that " your life has a meaning, and its worht living for what you belive in" but that , in today's time seems such a distant dream!!
can we do something abt it?

11/7/2006.....black tuesday..... the day that would be remembered as a day when the biggest act of terror took place and when humanity showed its kindest face in form of ordinary people helping out the victims on an extra ordinary evening...
8 blasts in 11 minutes... an act of terror planned to perfection. 200 + lives lost , for no fault of their own. who did it? why? in the name of religion was it? or was this blast supposed to cause some kinda communal tension??
BAH then those buggers were soo wrong!!!!! did they think they would succeed... if the bloody politicans havent succeding in causing communal tension.. then these terrorists are no match!
what was really amazing was when people helping out each other minutes after the blasts!
this showed the world that "we care"....this showed that we will not be detered by these terrorist attacks and that we will stand up against it..
but i wanna ask? how long?? how long would be the victims of mindless acts of terror..
how long would the government keep pointing fingers... or keep condeming the attacks. its high time that we as indians fight against this evil. Its a fact that india as a country has the highest deaths due to terrorist attacks.. far more then iraq or iran. isnt it high time we attack rather being the victims... its this tolerance level of ours that is been taken advantage of by those terrorists!!
Can india attack? yes.. should it attack... NO... i say we do it the way the do it... why waste millions for the deaths of a few no-gooders. attack em they way they attack us , its the only way out..
Would the world oppose us? yes they would.. do we care? depends.. if you want to protect your citizens then you would go all out to protect em. if you only wanna talk big and show the world that your an ass to be victimised like this. then so be it!!
India needs to stand up against this evil.. it needs to defy those behind such acts of horror. It needs the people to belive that the security of the citizens is top priority for the government..
Yes there is a lot of diplomacy involved.. but i think india can very welltake cue from what the germans did to avenge the deaths of the israelis in munich...

All i can hope and pray for is that for once.. the government takes some concrete decision and does something abt it, rather then talk shit and do nothing!

Trance addict!

Ok i'm a self confessed trance addict. This in no way states that i know everything there is to know abt trance, the artists, the albums, the beats, the melodies! but i'm hooked on to trance!

It was when i was in fyjc that i got hooked on! went to a loads of discs freqenting the now shut 'fire & Ice' .But it was also a time i was to be influenced by rock, metal(Esp death and black) and rap.
and well trance took a backseat then.
It was a time for linking park, eminem, GNR, black sabbath,westlife, U2, def leppard, cold play, moby, led zeppelin , jimi hendrix, queen, pink floyd, dire straits, nirvana,aerosmith, metallica and more to rule my world. My music dictated my group, my dates , my fav hang outs and my fav music programs!
Though i love to sing along too and also loved the romantic love songs ! man i knew so many of em that i could work up a chic just by singing ! ahh those memories!!! lol
So this was it, until maybe 2 years ago. I just got hold of a couple of gb's of trance, mostly commerical stuff. And that was it! though all of it was crap there was an instant curiousity in me to know more abt trance, listen to more trance and to know more abt various artists!
its been two years now listening to trance, though the start wasnt that great as i use to listen to a lot of commerical stuff .
it was later on i moved on to radio shows, livesets and yes still do listen to most albums of my fav artists!
my fav artists currently are armin van buuren, tiesto, Paul van dyk, oakenfold, M.I.K.I, andy moor, above and beyond, rank1, atb, BT, gabriel and dresdan, airwave, infected mushroom, astral projection, hemstock and jennings, markus schulz, 4 strings, robert miles, conjure one, and many more...
some of the radio shows i listen to include a state of trance by armin van buuren and trance around the world by above and beyond...
do listen to global dj broadcast and essential mix when i get a copy of it :).

just a couple of months ago i was thinking, my progression from one genre to another had halted. maybe i was right.... trance is upliftment, its emotional, it makes you dream, it puts you in a dream! its an anthem that has many followers across continents!
people who dig trance would swear by the vocal remixes of Gabriel and dresdan, the psyedelic astral projection and the anthemic armin van buuren's mixes!
And maybe my progression hasnt stopped. maybe it has just began. a journey into trance to explore its various forms, its various moods, its beats and rythyms!
Just like music changed me 4 years ago, its changing me again ! i dont have subsriptions to any forums other then trance!. i dont chk out websites for anything other then trance events happening all over the world. heck i even want a t-shirt which says "trance-addict" lol
Music has a power of its own to change people and that's exactly what the music i listen to has done to me!
I think i'm gonna be a trance addict forever! maybe its to due with me maturing(not joking, i`m serious:))..and around that time i settled onto trance. :)

Militants attack kashmir

So another Militant attack today. Saw on TV. No one knows what that guy's purpose was, since he was caught on cam and he didnt attack anyone on the ground. Shot down later on.
So the reaction? Some said it was an of cowardice.. Errr.? cowardice? i think he was confused who to shoot and who not too? or i guess he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time ;)... since he kept looking everywhere as if he was searching for a target.
Anyways, someone else said that people of india would be angry with this.. what the hell? is there any more reason not to be angry? militant attacks keep happening every now and then, innocent lives are lost and no one seems to care.
and we are angry? hell ya... but oh we aint angry with the militants.. nah nah.. what's the point? they'll come, they'll attack,they'll kill, they'll die!
we are angry with our government, our political system. Why? you may ask?
Its pretty simple actually. Internally the government is looked up as being inefficient, corrupt, and full off lazy asses who are nothing but money sucking vampires.. well most of them are anyways.
Externally, India is been recognized as a powerful nation, yet tolerant.
I ask, for how long? how long will we not value the lives of indians. For how long will we just sit there talking rather then doing something about it.
Its like a ritual. Every militant attack , lives are lost, and all that our ministers do is say that it was an act of cowardice that is condemned by the people of India. Condemned by ass!!!!
There is a long list of militant attacks and subsequently there is a long list of innocent lives lost because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Was it there fault?
Why is it that no action is taken? all that we get to hear is that a top security officals team has been sent and that's it. what the hell do they do there? Hatch eggs??
why isnt it that India has retaliated back with guns and violence? Do they really think that diplomacy is gonna help? When a 4 year old has made up his mind to buy that particular doll, he's gonna get it by hook or by crook. He'll cry, He'll whine, but he'll get it.
Its hardoded in a militants mind, " I'm out there to kill, and to sacrifice myself for the love of allah". There aint no point in talking now is there??
Does the India government think that these guys would stop terrorizing the country? hell no!
Then why no action? Well aint it typical. Where do they carry out anything worthwhile on time, with diligence, with efficieny?
Not until there is war would they get up from their sleep. Not until they kill an important minister(won't really matter, would it?) would there be any change in the government's policies.
But if they reach that stage, India would be in a bad position. why?
Most Militant strikes in Kashmir, happen in the name of jihad. But if they start attacking ministers it wouldnt be a jihad, it would mean that they are more then powerful now, it would mean that they do not have to worry about international pressure. It would simply mean that its the damn of a great war(Crusades 2.. anyone?)
It would be a war , where many lives would be lost.
Terrorism is a menance that needs to be curbed as soon as possible, as much as possible. Even if it means a direct violent reply to the terrorist attacks, right in thier own base!
We have to show then that we are, as a nation, intolerant of thier frequent attacks, intolerant towards terrorism.
Its our nation, our people, Why the hell would the world tell us how to react to terrorists attacks? afterall india loses more lives in terrorists attacks then any other nation on this planet!
This has to stop. It would when people at the helm of things started taking conrete decisions, rather then giving hollow assurances. Its time we fight terrorism with guns and bombs, not with petty words which do nothing for the people who have to live all their lives through this hell!
Its time we fight against it, cause they are not gonnna stop at anything to destroy this beautiful nation. Its time we Show them that we Indians are not to be taken for granted. Its time we fight brick by brick.
It may take years, but a sacrifice made for the protection of our people,our nation is worth a million lives then the lives lost in inhumane terrorists attacks!

hmmmmmm....... i`m wondering what's gonna happen next?? A lathi charge on the medicos protesting the reservation quota and then another one yesteday on people supporting the quotas..
The common link here is the police!! Had to be.. you wont have the politicans coming out in the sweltering heat ,unless its election time!
so a question arises? what does India think? should be to pro or against it?
For sure the police is confused. why wouldnt they be? they are already a bunch of good for nothing sad asses who do nothing but harm, harm the people, the nation and our pride!
So the police does have reservation doesnt it? well it really wouldnt matter if it does or does not...

hmm. lets analyze.... without reservations(if there arent already)they are doing such a good job at filling up there pockets at the common man's expense and not doing any good for the society at large.
With reservations not only would they pocket money from people belonging to the "OBC class" these people in turn would pocket money from us.. hmm so isnt it better for them to support reservation??
but you see, if the young brigade doesnt support the idoelogy of "corruption" then the image of the police would be tainted!! hey come on an honest police officer?? lol .. you wouldnt want them would you? otherwise how the hell would you write pages after pages, blogs et all in appreciation of "the police" ;)

Anyways, now that the police have thrashed the supporters and non-supporters of the reservation policy, its time for the real battle to begin!
the people who support v/s the people who dont... let the real show down begin.. but hey wait a minute.. who would inform the respective groupS?
Ahh yes..our very own politician.. after all they are experts in creating a volatile situation leading to mindless violence.. godhra anyone??
so well we shall wait and watch , for the ultimate showdown in indian reservation history!!

With all that`s been happening in the country against reservations of seats for OBC'c , how could i not talk abt it ;) ...
This country needs more and more people to get educated! For that you need reservation for the backward class so that they can come forward accept their seat in some good college, a seat which doesnt belong to them and to which they dont belong to. This is not to say everyone coming from a backward class has to be an idiot or a dumb. My dad was the only person in his village who studied beyond 10th and now its because of him i`m here writing on my comp on this blog! Aint I a proud, Spoit Child!! LOL
And YES , I belong to the OBC category. nice isnt it? but hell i dont have a certi to prove so i come in the general category!! sucks nah!
So now the eternal question?? Do i support reservation?

HELL yAAAAA!
We already have an education system that`s going downhill, an education system that doesnt give a child to prove his worth mentally, psychologically and physiologically. An education system that burden's the child by making him memorize nearly the whole text-book.So why not add the ghost of reservation to burden the child with extra competition, a competiton that doesnt exist. A competition, that really isnt a competition, more like merit- annihalation!
Anyways, I only support reservation unless proved beneficial.. Seee this is the good part, wherein the politicans get a fair change to prove themselves right(atleast once!)
See the politicans have hordes of people working for them, the script writers to write their speeches, the doctors to keep them fit and fine, the security gaurds to protect them! etc etc etc.
I feel they should implement reservation here, kinda like an experiment! what say?
Since reservations lower the merit required to get into the universities , there could be restrictions on doctors,security gaurds etc etc..
The doctors shouldn't be first class MBBS. what`s the point? then they would rather have thier own clinic..
Rather these docs(The ones employed for the politicians) should be the ones who just passed or passed by bribing(favourite of the politicans :P)or passed after many years of trying :)..
such docs should be reserved to work for the politicans. Everyone needs a good job ? and a good salary, dont they?

If our Neta does fall sick, then he can given some medicine from a factory, which was reserved for employment for people with low grades in their MBBS exams.. Hey every deserves a good place to work in!

Coming to the Security Gaurd, i think best is to pick up unemployed people and hire them. this would be great social service to them , given them a job, a gun and basically a license to kill which is great for us the common man! Give them a WATER GUN!!
Since this would be reserved, they would be fit to become gaurds, no training, no formal education required.. heck all they have to do is point that water gun to your face to scare you off!

Also our netas should have special vehicles . yes RESERVED vehicles... unlike the normal ones that run on the road, these ones would be different. Since our netas would be proving themselves, firstly there would be no AC in the car, whats the point, since there would be no windows! lol
Max speed limit would be 20KMPH... hey this is for reservation, rememeber?

Houses they live in wouldnt really have brick walls.. wastage of money... better built a house made of tin and wood, constructed by the people "reserved" for such construction!
the cooks, janitors should also be from the reserved set of people.. The cook would be the ones who can hardly cook, but when they do they could put you in bed for a month! See this is where those docs come in, with thier technical expertise in handling such situations!!

See if this works for the politicans then it would def work for us, for the betterment of our nation. So we should all support the reservation policy!
